8 Steps Makeup To My Daily Look

I am definite NOT an expert in make up. Over the years, I’ve learnt some simple make up technique from the expert make up artist, as well as youtuber. I applied what I’ve learnt everyday and yeah, practice does makes perfect!!

In this article, I would like to share my routine make up steps for a daily look ready for work. If you like simple, not-so-heavy make up, I hope these steps are easy and relevant to you.

First step first, prep your skin for your make up with primer! Do not underestimate the power of a primer, it helps to balance your skin and to achieve more ideal make up result. I like this Make Up Forever Primer (Radiant Primer Cool Pink) because it is lightweight, it evens up my skin tone and make my skin more radiant and leaves makeup looking fresh for hours.

As mentioned earlier, I am not an expert in make up and I am a lazy person. The invention of BB Cushion is the perfect one for me. I’ve tried so many types of BB Cushion until I met this YSL Le Cushion Encre De Peau, this is the perfect cushion for me as it gives good coverage, good hydration as well as a luminous matte finish.

To choose your blusher, you need to learn your own skin colour tone.
( I am so sorry that I can’t explain more on different colour tone in this article, that will be too long..You have to google yourself to learn more)

So, I have fair to medium skin with underlying dark brown features, some thing with peachy-pink will suits me.

Give me a “high-5” if you agree that eyebrow is the most difficult step ever!!

I like to apply highlighter over the cheekbones and nose bridge to light up the complexion and gives radiance. Although it may seems like a tiny touch, but this small act will instantly bright up your whole feature.

Because I have a relatively fair skin and big eyes, I have to be very becareful when applying eye shadow. If the colours are highly pigmented, my make up will looks like overly done.
I like peachy-pink tone of eyeshadow for my daily work because it is very trendy and feminine.
This NYX eyeshadow palette has range from mattes and satins to shimmers and metallics colour which you able to play around with different combination in different occasion.

#7: Eyeliner (CLIO Sharp, So Simple Waterproof Pencil Liner)

As the name it is, it is a very fine, waterproof, smudge-proof, simple to use eyeliner.
I’m that kind of girl who don’t really like to draw a “tail-like” eyeliner, hence pencil liner is so much convenient to me.

p/s: I use shade of Brown

You can get this item in Clio pop-up store, Hermo or Watson

#8: Lipsticks (MAC Powder Kiss/ YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Sheer Matte/ CLIO Mad Matte)

As for the lip colour, again you need to understand your own skin colour tone. By doing that, it will be easier to find the shades that bring the best out of you from the pool of colours.
I like red or rose colour and I like the matte kind of finishing.
These three lipsticks definitely rescue me from giving others an impression of pale sick looking.

p/s: I use #301 A Little Tamed (MAC), #112 Raw Rosewood (YSL), #16 Sweet Guava (CLIO)

You can get MAC and YSL in their Official Store, CLIO in their pop-up Store or Watson

And..here you go..this is the result of these 8 steps make up look
